The Fountains of Hope

Sarasota, FL

Client: THE FOUNTAINS OF HOPE, LLC

Architect: Lawson Group Architects, Inc.

Project Summary

The Fountains of Hope project, built for Fountains of Hope, LLC, included the new construction of a three story 89,791 square foot retirement facility located in Sarasota, FL. The facility houses 106 apartment units for Assisted Living and Memory Care. The retirement facility was constructed on a spread footing and stem wall foundation with a cast in place, structural steel, concrete masonry unit structural frame, and a stucco, Hardie Plank, stone veneer exterior. A thermoplastic polyolefin over a hollow core with shingle over wood truss roof completed the construction. The project also featured a 70-vehicle parking lot, 1,200-foot access road, two exterior hardscape and landscaped courtyards, a port cohere, and several decorative fountains as well as a full-service kitchen, dining area, chapel, fitness center, and spa. Due to CORE's expertise in constructing retirement facilities, the Fountains of Hope now supports the aging population in the community of Sarasota.
