The Restore Louisiana project, is currently being built for Innovative Emergency Management, Inc., and includes the demolition, restoration, and renovation of 36,000 multifamily homes located at various sites located from Lafayette to Gonzales, LA. The homes were damaged by the 1,000-year storm of August 2016 and are part of the Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance Program for permanent repair. Construction will consist of installing plumbing and electrical systems, vinyl sheeting over plywood flooring, and roofing. The project will also feature water heaters, metal exterior railing and stairs, hollow core interior doors, and new insulation. Due to CORE's efficient project management coordination and construction solutions with the State Office of Community Development and the program manager, IEM, during pre-construction, the Restore Louisiana project is estimated to complete by December 2018.
