The Patrick F. Taylor Science and Technology Academy project, built for the Jefferson Parish Public School System, included the new construction of a three story 122,723 square foot middle high school campus located in Westwego, LA. The facility supports over 450 students in grades Sixth through Twelfth in a classroom building and a conference center. The middle high school campus was constructed on a wood composite foundation with a concrete column and steel structural frame. The exterior finish consisted of a concrete masonry unit wall, aluminum composite material panel, and aluminum curtain. A pre-engineered metal truss roofing system completed the construction. The project also featured an athletic field, laboratories, library, administrative offices, and a performing arts center. Due to CORE's diverse construction experience with building new schools, the Patrick F. Taylor Science and Technology Academy provides a state-of-the-art facility for academic excellence.
