The Northwest Transportation Facility project, built for the Clark County School District, included the new construction of a 52,500-square foot school transportation complex located in Las Vegas, NV. The facility supports one of five bus and maintenance yards for the school district's Department of Transportation and houses approximately 500 school buses and activity vehicles. The school transportation complex was constructed to include extensive site work consisting of a one mile of paved road, concrete masonry unit retaining wall, street improvements, and new utility lines for water, gas, and sewer. The project also featured storage and maintenance areas, administration building, state-of-the-art bus wash facility, and fueling station with islands. Due to CORE's expertise in school construction, the Northwest Transportation Facility enhances the Clark County School District's Department of Transportation's ability to safely transport students to and from schools.
