The Integrated Education Building project, built for Maricopa County Community Colleges, included the new construction of a three-story 136,849 square foot educational building located in Phoenix, AZ. The facility consists of indoor and outdoor art classrooms, counseling offices, Student Services area, study and testing rooms, computer labs, and specialty classrooms with chemistry, biology, physics, and anatomy labs. The educational building was constructed of masonry block, glass, galvanized metal, and copper. The project also featured a unique metal panel system for the enclosure, balconies for students, three passenger elevators, multipurpose classroom with bleacher seating, electrically operated shade screens, access control and security systems, solar hot water heater, outdoor site walls, and integrated benches. The project achieved Gold Certification by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design by the U.S. Green Building Council for sustainable features. Due to CORE's commitment to environmental and structural efficiency, the Integrated Education Building project provided a relaxing and interactive academic environment for students and faculty to cultivate their business and industrial aspirations.
