Holy Cross Catholic Church

Dallas, TX

Client: Catholic Diocese of Dallas

Architect: VAI Architects Inc.

Project Summary

The Holy Cross Catholic Church project, built for the Catholic Diocese of Dallas, included the new construction of a one story 17,744 square foot religious worship facility located in Dallas, TX. The facility houses the Head Start program, Senior Citizens Center, Catholic Charities Office, and a worship center. The worship facility was constructed utilizing Texas limestone and natural lighting. The project also featured a 700-seat sanctuary with curved pews and a 50-foot exterior cross tower, a choir rehearsal room, a chapel, sacristy, and deacon rooms. Due to CORE's construction efforts, the Holy Cross Catholic Church now provides a modern religious facility for worship and church programs for the South Oak Cliff community.
