Project Summary

The Dallas Police Department Bexar Street Reinvestment Center project, built for the City of Dallas, included the new construction of a 7,198 square foot police station located in Dallas, TX. The facility functions as a patrol substation and a Neighborhood Assistance Center serving the communities of Bexar Street and Hooper Avenue. Construction of the police station consisted of a spread footing, grade beam, and slab-on-grade concrete foundation, a steel structural frame, an exterior comprised of brick, metal panels, and cement boards, and a thermoplastic polyolefin roof. The project also features bullet resistant transaction windows, aluminum framed storefront windows, metal duty lockers for officers and staff, and public restrooms in addition to a secured access parking lot, laundry room, ornamental fencing with gates, and concrete exterior paving with landscaping.
